Live Scan fingerprinting is required by many state agencies, employers, and licensing boards to ensure background checks for safety and compliance. In California You may need Live Scan services if you are:

Bringing the correct ID and Live Scan Request Form is required to complete your fingerprinting. Without them, we cannot legally process your prints. Missing items may cause delays, rescheduling, or impact your job, license, or background check timelines.

DOJ/FBI Fees will be charged depending on the background check requested by the agency. Fees range from $17-$79.
