The Point Loma Association is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit volunteer community group dedicated to beautifying, informing, and advocating for a better quality of life on the Point Loma peninsula since 1961.
One of the region’s oldest and largest animal welfare organizations, the San Diego Humane Society operates five campuses across San Diego County and serves as an open-admission, zero-euthanasia shelter for healthy and treatable animals. They provide adoption, veterinary care, wildlife rehabilitation, humane law enforcement, community programs, and youth education.
Founded by a dedicated team of female volunteers, Road to Freedom Rescue is committed to saving dogs from neglect, abandonment, and cruelty—both locally and in rural Mexico. They ensure that every rescue receives loving care, lifesaving veterinary treatment, and a forever home, supported by adoption, education, and advocacy efforts.
